Terms and Conditions
These conditions apply to all holidays booked with Alpine Constructions SARL, (“we” or “us”), and all people named or booked for by the party leader (“you”). “Our services” are those Alpine Constructions SARL provide directly, such as accommodation, and contractually outsource, such as food, drinks and cleaning. All other services provided by independent 3-rd party suppliers, such as, but not limited to, internet connection, snow clearing, babysitting, ski lessons, ski hire, lift passes, SPA & Wellness facilities, massages, etc., are not classed as part of “our services”. There is a section (section 5) for external suppliers. The rest of these booking terms and conditions apply exclusively to matters of our services only. “The holiday” is our package of food and accommodation only.
We strongly advise you to read carefully the booking terms and conditions set out below before booking your holiday with us. These booking conditions form the basis of your contract with Alpine Constructions SARL and set out the respective rights and obligations of both parties. As soon as you have paid your deposit this means that you and all the members in your group have accepted these terms and conditions. The deposit is 25% of the total holiday cost and is not refunded under any circumstances.
This contract does not apply to any services not classed as part of our services (see section 1). We have no liability or obligation bearing from their providers, and offer no refund, alternative or comment on the quality of services they can provide.
To confirm your booking, the deposit of 25% (twenty five percent) of the total holiday cost is due, and is not refunded under any circumstances. The price must be paid in full if the booking is within 8 (eight) weeks of the commencement of the holiday.
The balance of the cost of the holiday plus a security deposit of 750 Swiss Francs (or equivalent thereof in any other currency) are payable 60 (sixty) days prior to its commencement. The deposit is a guarantee against any damage caused to the property by any member of your group during your stay (also see section 8). It will be returned to you in full within 14 days after the end of your stay, providing no additional charges are applicable (see section 8).
If the amount due is not paid on time, then the holiday is deemed to have been cancelled. We reserve the right to re-sell the holiday without prior notice to you. A party leader making a booking takes responsibility for the whole party, including payment and cancellation.
We reserve the right to modify our price at any time prior to completion of the booking, without prior notice, unless it has been already confirmed by us in writing. The prices for the entire chalet include accommodation, if applicable, catering service comprising of breakfast, afternoon tea, evening meal and drinks as described, and use of chalet facilities. Prices do not include flights, transfers to the chalet, travel and accident insurance, hire of sport equipment, ski passes and lessons, or any other items not specifically referred to on the website.
Although we update our website regularly, we cannot guarantee it to be up to the minute, therefore the exact price and availability information will be confirmed in writing upon request.
When rented outside the peak season, we reserve the right to sell holidays at a discount and you may therefore share accommodation with guests who have paid a significantly lower price.
5. Third Party Services
Bookings for extra services, such as massages and ski lessons, made on your behalf by us, are subject to the terms and conditions laid down by the provider of the service. These apply to the party delivering and accepting services in question, and engage neither personal nor monetary involvement of Alpine Constructions SARL nor its staff. We carefully choose our business partners in Anzère, but under no circumstances can we vouch for the standard of performance of any extra services. Having said that, we strive to achieve excellence, so please do not hesitate to address any grievances about the extra services by approaching us or the respective provider(s) directly.
6.1. Cancellations by you
All cancellations must be made in writing by the Party Leader. The following cancellation charges apply:

We take no responsibility for non-delivery or non-receipt of the notification of cancellation. If the balance of the cost of the holiday is not received at least eight weeks prior to the day the holiday commences, the holiday may be deemed to be cancelled, and we reserve the right to re-book part, or all of the chalet without further notice. In practice, every effort will be made to contact you. Non receipt of the balance of the cost of the holiday will not be taken as notification of cancellation of the holiday and you will be liable for cancellation charges as detailed above if you subsequently do cancel the holiday.
6.2. Cancellations by us
We reserve the right to cancel your holiday without refund as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, which include but are not limited to force majeure, war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, acts of government, natural or nuclear disaster, severe adverse weather conditions, fire, closure of ports and airports or similar events.
You may alter your dates of stay, rooms booked and names of party members travelling, prior to payment of the final balance, provided there is availability. If the holiday price is more, you will pay the difference in price. If the price is less, we will discount/refund you any difference. Prices applicable are those on the date of your change of booking compared to the price of your original booking.
You may only alter the number of persons travelling up to 14 days before departure. No monies will be refunded for a person taking the place who would upon normal booking pay less than the original person has paid (e.g. if a child takes the place of a full paying adult, there will be no refund).
You are responsible for your own insurances, travel documents and travel arrangements. Transport, hotels, restaurants, sports and activity providers and other similar services are not under our control and we therefore shall not be liable for any act or omission on their part.
We take responsibility for the actions or omissions of our staff only in the course of their normal work. We take no responsibility of any actions or omissions of staff outside their normal working hours or duties, including voluntary skiing with guests and socialising with guests.
We reserve the right to terminate, without compensation and without any further contractual obligations (this includes any return transport arrangements) your holiday, if it is deemed by us that your behaviour is unsociable, abusive or in any way unacceptable, to ourselves, our staff, or any other guests, or in any way harms our reputation with local residents or suppliers. We reserve the right to charge you for any damage to our property and for any unusual cleaning in addition to the standard caution amount. This must be paid within 24hrs else we reserve the right to terminate this contract and all services we provide to you, including accommodation and food.
We will not make any refunds or pay any compensation to the individual involved or to members of his/her party, or associates wishing to curtail their holiday as a result.
9. Limitation of Liability
Where you do not suffer personal injury or death through our direct and indisputable involvement, our liability is limited to the invoiced holiday cost and under no circumstances extends to additional costs incurred in the taking of the holiday such as travel costs or pre-booked ski packs.
Should you have cause for complaint, you should make it known to us at the earliest opportunity in order that we may take whatever action we consider to be appropriate without delay. If at the end of your holiday you feel that your complaint has not been dealt with adequately, you must notify us in writing within 30 days of your scheduled date of return and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
Please note that there could be many factors outside our control, notably weather driven aspects such as lack of snow, technical failure of the running of Telecabine Anzere, temporary or permanent closure of ski runs due to the danger of an avalanche, closure of the SPA & Wellness facilities due to technical errors, etc.. Although we have no liability for factors outside our direct control, we will do our best to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible in other ways.
We make every effort to ensure that the information provided on our website and in any literature is accurate at the time of publication. We reserve the right to make changes and alterations and you will be informed whenever possible before your booking is confirmed.
All information regarding 3rd party suppliers has been supplied by them to us, but we make no claims to it being complete or up to date. They may subsequently have altered their information, making the facts we have published inaccurate or incomplete.
We will endeavour to have your room ready by 3pm on the day of your arrival. Your room must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure, regardless of the time of transfer. We will however provide space for the storage of baggage, should you either arrive before 3pm, or wish to leave after 10am.
13. Other Parties
We reserve the right to have other parties staying in the chalet unless the whole chalet is taken.
14. Ski Hosting
If you choose to join us on our ski hosting trips, please note that we do not take responsibility for injuries, however caused. At all times, clients must use their own judgement based on their own abilities, and skiing and boarding is at their own risk. Skiers must be able to competently tackle red runs as a minimum requirement.
Ski Hosting will only take place under safe weather conditions and on marked pistes. Please note that ski hosting does not involve tuition or advice of any nature, and is simply a means to helping guests familiarise themselves with the local ski area.
15. Cycling and other organised sports or otherwise activities.
The same liability rules as in section 14. Ski Hosting (above) apply to all other winter and summer activities organised, hosted or proposed by Alpine Constructions SARL or its staff.
Transfers are not included in the price of your holiday from/ to Geneva Airport to/from Sion, but a minibus or a car are possible to organised for your group upon request.
During the winter season, due to variable weather conditions, TV and internet signal in ski resorts can be temperamental. We cannot guarantee a continuous and uninterrupted access to either at all times. Wi-Fi access is available in each private room and in common areas. We do not supply laptops, tablets or any other portable devices for your use.
It is a condition of booking that all clients have the necessary travel/health/medical assistance/rescue/life insurance(s) policy in place, which provide comparable or greater cover under all sections to that offered by us. Please provide us with the name of your insurer and a policy number in case of medical emergencies.
These conditions and any contract to which they apply are governed and construed in accordance with Swiss law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland. All disputes arising from the interpretation, fulfilment, non-fulfilment or application of this contract will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
